We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Node.js Developer with experience in Nest.js, TypeScript, Redis, MySQL, Kafka, and distributed systems to join our dynamic team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing scalable and high-performance server-side applications, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 5 years of experience in Node.js development, with a strong understanding of distributed systems and a passion for delivering quality code.

Como parte de Rappi, serás responsable de:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and the Nest.js framework.
• Design and implement efficient and scalable APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise on system architecture and design.
• Integrate with and optimize performance of backend services, including Redis, MySQL, and Kafka.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using TypeScript.
• Implement automated tests and conduct thorough debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in Node.js development and distributed systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in Node.js development, with a focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in Nest.js and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience working with distributed systems, microservices, and scalable architectures.
• Familiarity with databases such as Redis and MySQL, and message queues like Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and API design principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Ability to write efficient and optimized SQL queries.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.
